In winter and spring, it is the peak period of oil extraction. Spiral oil press is mostly used to squeeze a variety of granular oils such as soybeans, cottonseeds, peanut kernels, sesame seeds, rapeseeds, and small wild vegetable oils. It is an ideal oil press for individual oil mills. However, due to various reasons, sometimes the oil output is low or even no oil. Therefore, troubleshooting should be carried out in time.
Poor oil output:
①The oily cracks of the squeezed sticks are blocked by oil residue or scraps, or the squeezed sticks are packed too tightly. At this time, the oil residue should be removed, and the press bar should be reinstalled. If there is oil in the hopper, stop feeding and use cake to slowly flush out the oil before continuing to work normally. The oil can also be discharged from the discharge port. Re-assemble and disassemble the press chamber parts, and then start the press.
②The oil has high oil content, but the cake is too thin, so that the oil cannot be discharged from the cracks in time and is stored in the press chamber and the hopper. Therefore, when squeezing oilseeds with high oil content, the cake should be thicker; otherwise, it should be thinner.
Too much slag:
①The oil is too dry, and the debris is discharged from the oil cracks. The moisture of the oil should be adjusted.
②The oil is too wet. It cannot form pressure. The oil residue cannot be separated. If the oil drain gap is too large, the residue will be squeezed out from the oil gap. The moisture content of the oil and the tightness of the press bar assembly should be adjusted.
Low oil yield:
①The raw materials are too wet or too dry, damp and moldy. The grains are not full and there are too many impurities. The oil must be re-cleaned, and the moisture of the oil must be adjusted. ②The oil outlet is blocked by oil residue. It should be removed, and the tightness of the sliver should be adjusted according to the level of oil content.
③The parts are worn out. Worn parts should be replaced.
④ The cake is too thin or too thick. The cake thickness or oil output should be adjusted.
⑤In the initial stage of squeezing, the temperature of the squeezing chamber is too low. The machine should be milled to increase the temperature.
The screw shaft is stuck:
①In the initial stage of squeezing, there is a lot of feed. It can be slowly fed with fried oilseeds. Repeated milling to eliminate.
② During the pressing process. Material is broken in the press chamber, and then a large amount of material is fed, and the press chamber is blocked by oil. Therefore, the feeding should be continuous and uniform. Once a failure occurs, the electricity should be turned off immediately, the feeding should be stopped, the discharge plate should be opened, the screw shaft should be exited, the oil in the chamber should be removed, and the pressure should be re-squeezed.
Other reasons that affect the output:
①The raw material is not cleaned enough, and sand and debris enter the squeezing chamber. ②The screw shaft or the cake outlet is not smooth, which affects the feeding and output of the cake. It must be polished with a grinding wheel or mixed with the material with high friction coefficient such as chaff. Squeeze the snails out of the cake and polish the mouth.
③The speed of the screw shaft is too high or too low, and the speed should be adjusted until it meets the requirements.
④ If the screw shaft is polished, the parts should be replaced.
