As a special oil crop, palm oil, as the name suggests, is pressed from the palm fruit on the oil palm tree, and the oil extracted from the pulp is called palm oil. The process of palm fruit oil extraction can be divided into: sterilization, desalination, mashing & pressing, clarification & drying. Palm fruit oil extraction process

Palm Fruit Bunches--Sterilization--Deleting--Mashing & Squeezing--Clarification & Drying--Crude Palm Oil

In the beginning, the collected fresh palm fruit bunches were transported to the sterilization tank by a screw conveyor, and steamed for high-temperature cooking. Then, the fruit bunch enters the drum threshing machine for fruit threshing processing, and the palm fruit separated from the fruit bunch enters the crushing and pressing station. Mashing is used to separate the pulp from the pit and mash the pulp tissue to increase the oil yield. Then the processed pulp enters the screw press for squeezing. After pressing, two parts can be obtained: a mixture of oil, water, solid impurities, and a mixture of fibers and cores. Finally, the crude palm oil is separated from the mixture of oil, water, and solid impurities through clarification equipment to remove other impurities. After clarification and separation, the crude palm oil is vacuum dried and pumped into a temporary storage tank for storage.

As the core equipment for palm oil production, palm fruit oil press has a relatively large market development space. According to the different daily processing capacity, we recommend palm oil presses with different configurations and processing capacities.

The single screw palm oil press is suitable for small-scale palm oil press plants with a processing capacity of 300-500 kg/h. The oil press is composed of a hopper, a gear box, a screw press, a motor, a frame and other components. The working principle is to use palm fruit to squeeze the oil out of the gear box through the continuous squeezing of the screw.

The double helix palm oil press is suitable for large and medium-sized palm oil press plants with a processing capacity of 1-5 tons/hour and 5-120 tons/hour. The double helix palm oil press is composed of frame, cross coupling, double shaft box, receiving hopper, pressing cage, screw pressing, hydraulic control system and other components. Its working principle is to use two opposing squeezing screws in the fixed space of the squeezing cage to mesh with each other in the frying chamber to generate continuous squeezing force to cooperate with the squeezing cage to squeeze the oil out of the palm fruit. The design of the double helix structure can obtain a stronger squeezing force, so that the oil can be squeezed more thoroughly and the oil output rate is high.

It is worth noting that the single and double helix palm oil press can be used alone, or it can be equipped with sterilizers, fruit threshing machines, plate and frame filters and other equipment according to the processing capacity, plant area, capital, etc. Large, medium and small palm oil pressing production lines, thereby speeding up the oil yield of palm fruit and reducing oil loss.
