There are two common sunflower seeds: edible sunflower seeds and oil sunflower seeds. Edible sunflower seeds are not full, and the oil content is 25% to 30%. The oil sunflower seeds are small and full, and the oil content has reached 40% to 55%. Therefore, oil sunflower is often used as a raw material for the production of sunflower oil.

There are generally two production methods of sunflower oil: pressing method and leaching method. The pressing method is a method of obtaining sunflower oil from sunflower seeds by physical pressing, which retains the natural fragrance of sunflower oil. The leaching method is a production method in which the oil is extracted from the sunflower seed cake by using the principle of the compatibility of the solvent and the oil. After leaching, the residual oil rate in sunflower seed cake is less than 1%, which increases the production of sunflower oil. 1. How to use the pressing method to produce sunflower oil?

(1) Use cleaning equipment to remove impurities in sunflower seeds. Common cleaning equipment includes magnetic separators, cleaning sieves and stone removers. Of course, the cleaning equipment needs to be selected according to the impurities and types of sunflower seeds.

(2) Separate the kernels and shells of sunflower seeds with a peeling machine. Sunflower seed husk not only affects the use of sunflower oil production equipment, but also absorbs a part of sunflower oil, causing oil loss, so it needs to be removed.

(3) Use embryo rolling machine and steaming pan to adjust the temperature, humidity and internal structure of sunflower seeds, shorten the flow path of sunflower oil from sunflower seeds, and improve the production efficiency of sunflower oil.

(4) Use a sunflower oil press to produce sunflower oil from sunflower seeds. If you want to speed up the oil production, you can choose a pre-press and a squeezer for secondary pressing to produce more sunflower oil.

2. How to use the extraction method to produce sunflower oil?

The use of leaching method to produce sunflower oil also requires cleaning equipment, peeling machine, embryo rolling machine and steaming pan to process sunflower seeds, adjust the internal structure of sunflower seeds, and improve the production efficiency of sunflower oil. Then, use a pre-press to obtain sunflower oil and sunflower seed cakes. Sunflower seed cake needs to be transported into the extraction workshop to further produce sunflower oil.

The sunflower oil extraction process consists of four steps: sunflower oil extraction system, wet meal desolventization system, mixed oil treatment system and solvent recovery system.
