Camellia oil (also known as wild camellia oil, tea seed oil, or camellia seed oil) is derived from the seeds of the Camellia oleifera tree of the genus Camellia family. Camellia oil does not contain erucic acid and cholesterol. Tested: The unsaturated fatty acid in tea oil is as high as 90%, oleic acid is 80-83%, linoleic acid is 7-13%, and it is rich in protein and vitamins A, B, D, E, etc., especially for its products. The rich linolenic acid is necessary for the human body but cannot be synthesized. It is one of the high-quality edible oils.
The production process of camellia oil can be divided into: shelling, crushing, steaming, squeezing oil, refining and other processes. According to the production needs of different grades of tea seed oil, the industrial extraction and preparation methods of tea seed oil mainly include the more mature mechanical pressing method, solvent extraction method, and supercritical fluid extraction method.
